Practice Play : Spinal Column
This immersive masterclass celebrates the spine as a wonderful structure that gifts us the means of aligning, connecting and integrating. Expect a slow flow with elements of free-form movement, offering space and time to explore the creative possibilities of the spine. We will learn to move the spine in our respective languages of pleasure, in turn improving postural awareness and spinal health.

Tactile Play : Stimulating Surface Sensitivity
This workshop honours the eyes of the skin as a way to playfully inspire multidimensional movement, both from the angle of performance or pleasure. We will safely explore the many surfaces of our body through various modes of touch including rolling movements and massage, in relation to the ground and each other. Ultimately, learning to practice from the ‘felt’ sense than a visually driven one.

Practice Play : Appendages & Extremities
This immersive masterclass celebrates our extremities as extensions which grant us the possibility of articulating, expressing and projecting. Expect a slow flow with elements of free-form movement, offering space and time to explore the creative possibilities of our arms and legs. We will learn to move our limbs in our respective languages of pleasure, in turn developing mobility and greater movement efficiency.

Gravity Play : Finding Flow in Flight
This workshop explores ways in which we respond to gravity, opening up more possibilities for weight-bearing movement. In particular arm balances and ivnersions. Dance with and against gravity as we develop a sense of flow within flight along the spectrum of ‘surrender’ and ‘resistance’. Through partner work and prop work set up in a safe environment, we will explore many interesting variations of inversions rarely attempted in a standard class setting to understand the goings of being upside down from the inside out.
Relevant to practitioners who have at least a steady crow practice
